Job summary

Amergis, in Brockton, MA, is seeking a School Registered Nurse (RN) to oversee student care in a school setting. Qualifications

• Current RN license in the state of employment.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• School Nurse Certification as required by state or contract.
• One year of school nursing/public health/pediatric experience preferred.
• Current CPR if applicable.
• TB questionnaire/PPD or chest x-ray if applicable.
• Current Health certificate per contract or state regulation.
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the nursing process and delivery of student care in a school setting.
• Support the physical, mental and emotional well-being of students.
• Promote health and safety and respond to medical emergencies.
• Manage chronic conditions and provide ongoing health monitoring.
• Serve as liaison between families, school staff and healthcare providers.
