Job summary

Cross Country Education in Stafford Springs, CT seeks a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to support students in elementary through high school settings. You will provide direct nursing care in health offices or 1:1 assignments and collaborate with teachers to ensure students’ access to education.

Position Overview

• Provide direct nursing support to elementary through high school studentsin either a health office or 1:1 nursing assignment.
• Support students’ health, safety, and access to their education through attentive, responsive nursing care throughout the school day.
• Collaborate with classroom teachers and school staff, actively participating in the classroom environment and adapting to students’ individual needs.
• Maintain accurate documentation and demonstrate flexibility, reliability, and engagement while covering scheduled and as-needed per diem assignments.

Qualifications

• Active ConnecticutLicensed Practical Nurse (LPN) License
• Valid CPR, First Aid, and AED Certifications
• Valid Driver's License
• Previous school-based or pediatric nursing experience preferred; ability to adapt to changing student needs and collaborate effectively in an educational setting
