Job summary

BrandSafway is hiring a Scaffold Helper to support scaffold erection, modification, and dismantling on commercial/industrial sites. You will work under the Foreman and ensure safety, efficiency, and compliance with NYC DOB, OSHA standards, and company policies.

Responsibilities include assisting with labor tasks, material handling, and site coordination while maintaining a clean, hazard-free workspace and following daily safety briefings.

Qualifications

• Candidates should have basic scaffold and construction knowledge.
• Certifications listed in Qualifications are required or highly preferred.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work at heights.

Responsibilities

• Assist scaffold crews with erection, modification, and dismantling tasks.
• Communicate with foremen and crew to align on scope and safety.
• Handle materials, tools, and equipment and keep work area organized.
• Support in site coordination and basic documentation of time and materials.
• Adhere to OSHA and NYC DOB safety standards and PPE usage.
