Job summary

Brown & Root Industrial Services is seeking a Scaffold Builder Helper in Westlake, LA to assist with construction, dismantling and repair of wooden and metal scaffolds. The role requires adherence to safety rules and the ability to perform physically demanding work.

Candidates should have 12-16 months of scaffold helper experience and reliable transportation. Responsibilities include selecting tools, assessing risks, measuring and cutting materials, and assisting with scaffold assembly and site

Qualifications

• Must have 12-16 months scaffold builder helper experience.
• Knowledge of materials, tools, and basic building techniques.

Responsibilities

• Identify all tools required for tasks.
• Identify safety risks and the precautions required to eliminate those risks.
• Measure, mark, and cut required wooden/metallic materials to required specifications.
• Assist with the construction, reinforcement, and dismantling of pre-constructed Scaffolds.
• Assist with the building and construction of wooden Scaffolds and auxiliary items.
• Clean up work areas.
