Job summary

Atlantic Health System is seeking a Per Diem Registered Respiratory Therapist for Hackettstown Medical Center. The role involves ventilator and airway management, ABG analysis, and bedside pulmonary testing.

Requirements include an Associate of Science in Respiratory Therapy, NBRC-RRT credential within 1 year, NJ license, BLS and ALS eligibility. Prior critical care and EPIC charting experience preferred; position may include weekend shifts.

Qualifications

• Associate of Science degree from an accredited respiratory therapist program, required.
• Bachelor's Degree, highly preferred.
• 1+ years of Respiratory Care experience.
• Critical care experience, highly preferred.
• Previous experience with PFT studies and cardiopulmonary testing, highly preferred.
• Current or past experience with EPIC charting, highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ventilator management and airway management including intubation.
• ABG procurement and analysis.
• Medication administration of nebulizers and inhalers.
• Patient and family education.
• Bedside spirometry.
• CPT.
• Incentive spirometry.
