Job summary

Atlantic Health System is seeking a Per Diem Registered Respiratory Therapist to support Hackettstown Medical Center. The role emphasizes ventilator and airway management, ABG collection and analysis, and patient education in a busy clinical setting.

Candidates must hold an NJ license as a Respiratory Therapist and be NBRC-registered within 12 months, with BLS; ACLS encouraged. At least 1 year of respiratory care experience, including critical care, is preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in respiratory therapy is required.
• Bachelor's degree is highly preferred.
• 1+ years of Respiratory Care experience.
• Current NJ respiratory therapy license and NBRC RRT certification within 12 months.
• BLS required; ACLS expected or to be obtained within 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Ventilator management and airway management including intubation.
• ABG procurement and analysis.
• Medication administration of nebulizers and inhalers.
• Education for patient and family.
• Bedside spirometry and CPET procedures.
