Job summary

Mass General Brigham is seeking a per diem Registered Nurse for the Bridge Clinic in the Program for Substance Use and Addiction Services. The role focuses on engaging and stabilizing high-risk patients before linking them to long-term community care.

Expect to work 8:30 AM–1:00 PM on Saturdays and Sundays, with additional per diem hours available during the week as desired. The RN will provide compassionate, evidence-based nursing care, manage patient flow, and support care transitions with the

Qualifications

• Knowledge of practical nursing principles to provide patient care and treatment.
• Ability to care for patients across age groups as appropriate.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to accurately screen and triage acute patients.

Responsibilities

• Provide competent, compassionate, evidence-based nursing care using nursing processes and teamwork.
• Actively manage patient flow, including rooming and triaging.
• Triage and help identify level of care and intervention needed for SUD.
• Collaborate with pharmacy and outpatient team for medications and refills.
• Document nursing assessments, interventions, plans, and outcomes in patient records.
• Provide nursing consultation and follow-up using telecommunication tools.
