Boston Health Care for the Homeless Program is seeking a Per Diem Registered Nurse to provide compassionate ambulatory care to patients across various health conditions in outpatient settings. You will work with a collaborative clinical team to deliver education, medication management, chronic disease care, and preventive services.

Competenze

• Massachusetts RN license required.
• Minimum of 2 years nursing experience preferred; or current enrollment in a graduate nursing studies program.
• Experience with underserved population and active substance use preferable.
• Multiple language proficiency preferred - Spanish, French, Haitian-Creole, etc.
• Experience with Epic EMR preferred.
• Strong medical assessment skills.
• Experience in public health, primary and preventive nursing/medicine.
• Understanding of substance use, trauma, and behavioral health issues.

Mansioni

• Provide clinical nursing care addressing patients' health needs per BHCHP policies and public health regulations.
• Collaborate with the BHCHP clinical team to address health concerns.
• Assess and document nursing care and promptly report to appropriate personnel.
• Assist patients with medication management and disease education.
• Respond to medical emergencies and apply trauma‑informed care and harm reduction in clinical care.
• Support clinic site quality improvement efforts.
