Job summary

Planned Parenthood North Central States in Omaha, NE is seeking a per diem Registered Nurse to provide clinical and patient care support in a reproductive health program. The RN will perform history reviews, assist clinicians, conduct labs, and supply contraceptives while maintaining excellent patient service.

Responsibilities include EMR documentation, patient education on birth control, abortion options, and adherence to HIPAA and clinic protocols.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state you are applying for the role.
• Current BLS Certificate for healthcare providers.

Responsibilities

• Interview and screen patients, document in EMR, prep patients for examinations.
• Perform routine lab tests including venipure and communicate results.
• Provide unbiased patient education on birth control methods and abortion options.
• Manage inventory and assist clinicians as needed.
• Supervise nursing functions and assist with onboarding.
