Job summary

Planned Parenthood North Central States is seeking a Registered Nurse for a per diem, part-time, on-site role in Des Moines, IA. Under supervision, the RN will perform routine health center duties within the scope of RN licensure and support reproductive health services.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in state you are applying for the role.
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) Certificate for healthcare providers.

Responsibilities

• Interview and screen patients, conduct patient history review, document in EMR, prepare patients for examinations.
• Assess or triage patient complaints and monitor vital signs.
• Perform routine lab tests including venipuncture and communicate results.
• Provide unbiased patient education on birth control methods.
