Qualifications

• Requires BSN or grandfathered BSN if hired before 12/2019.
• Minimum 1 year acute inpatient hospital RN experience.
• Excellent communication skills in English (read, write, speak).
• Knowledge of medical procedures and policies relevant to nursing duties.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients to determine problems and plan care with physician.
• Provide direct and indirect patient care including medications and procedures as ordered.
• Promote continuity of care during hospital stay and transitions to home or outpatient settings.
• Educate patients and families; participate in development of patient education materials.
• Adhere to ethical standards and departmental policies; manage time effectively.
• Float to other areas as needed; ensure accurate charge capture for services.
