Job summary

University of Southern California (USC) invites a Per Diem Registered Nurse to join the Southern California Clinical and Translational Science Institute team in a part-time role. The RN will support clinical researchers, assist investigators, and provide nursing care across study activities, with emphasis on study recruitment, data collection and patient follow-up.

Ideal candidates hold a California RN license with oncology experience and preferred chemotherapy certification.

Qualifications

• Current/valid California State RN license.
• Oncology experience preferred.
• Chemotherapy Certified preferred.
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent education/training.

Responsibilities

• Assist investigators and research teams in conducting clinical research.
• Provide nursing care to participants across study phases and settings.
• Collect data and conduct follow-up for enrolled patients.
• Offer input on protocol design and execution to investigators.
• Mentor other nurses and study coordinators on care delivery.
