First Choice Nurses of Eastern VA is seeking experienced PCU Registered Nurses for per diem hospital opportunities in the Hampton Roads area. You choose when you work, with day and night shifts available and the option for daily or weekly pay.

Requires an active Virginia RN license, 2+ years PCU experience, and current BLS/ACLS certifications. Per diem roles offer flexible scheduling across leading acute care hospitals.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver safe, high-quality nursing care in acute care hospital settings
• Monitor and document patient conditions and responses to treatment
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments as ordered by physicians
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and use PCU equipment
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams
• Maintain accurate electronic medical records
• Follow hospital infection-control and patient-safety guidelines
• Provide patient and family education

PCU RN Requirements

• Active Virginia RN License
• Minimum 2 years of recent PCU nursing experience within the past 4 years
• Current BLS - American Heart Association (AHA)
• Current ACLS - American Heart Association (AHA)
• Current QuantiFERON-TB Gold test within the past 12 months
• COVID-19 vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption

Additional credentials may be required based on the hospital assignment.

• Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records
• Follow hospital policies, infection-control standards, and patient-safety guidelines
• Provide patient and family education
• Adapt professionally to different hospital environments and unit needs
