First Choice Nurses of Eastern VA is seeking an experienced PCU RN for per diem hospital shifts in the Hampton Roads area. You can pick up day or night shifts, and enjoy flexible scheduling with daily or weekly pay options.

Requirements include an active Virginia RN license, 2+ years PCU experience in the past 4 years, BLS, ACLS, and compliance with health screening and vaccination policies. Per diem positions offer competitive hourly pay and local hospital opportunities.

• Active Virginia RN License.
• Minimum 2 years of recent PCU nursing experience within the past 4 years.
• Current BLS (AHA).
• Current ACLS (AHA).
• Current QuantiFERON-TB Gold test within the past 12 months.
• COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver safe, high-quality nursing care in an acute care hospital setting.
• Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions and responses to treatment.
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments per orders.
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and equipment for PCU patients.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams.
• Maintain timely electronic medical records and follow infection-control standards.

Per Diem | Hampton Roads, VA | Days & Nights Available

Day Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM

Night Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

PCU RN Requirements

• Active Virginia RN License
• Minimum 2 years of recent PCU nursing experience within the past 4 years
• Current BLS - American Heart Association (AHA)
• Current ACLS - American Heart Association (AHA)
• Current QuantiFERON-TB Gold test within the past 12 months
• COVID-19 vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption

Additional credentials may be required based on the hospital assignment.

• Follow hospital policies, infection-control standards, and patient-safety guidelines
• Provide patient and family education
• Adapt professionally to different hospital environments and unit needs
