First Choice Nurses of Eastern VA is seeking experienced PCU Registered Nurses for per diem hospital shifts in the Hampton Roads area. You control when you work, choosing days or nights with flexible scheduling and quick onboarding.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of PCU nursing in the past 4 years.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Virginia RN license active and in good standing.
• COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, high‑quality care in an acute hospital setting.
• Monitor and document patient conditions and responses to treatment.
• Administer medications, IV therapies and treatments per orders.
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and PCU equipment as needed.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams.
• Maintain accurate electronic medical records.
• Adhere to infection-control and patient-safety guidelines.
• Educate patients and families about care plans.

PCU RN Requirements

• Active Virginia RN License
• Minimum 2 years of recent PCU nursing experience within the past 4 years
• Current BLS - American Heart Association (AHA)
• Current ACLS - American Heart Association (AHA)
• Current QuantiFERON-TB Gold test within the past 12 months
• COVID-19 vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption
• Additional credentials may be required based on the hospital assignment.
