First Choice Nurses of Eastern VA is seeking experienced PCU Registered Nurses for per diem hospital opportunities across the Hampton Roads area. You pick shifts and build a schedule that fits your life, with day or night options and daily or weekly pay.

Candidates must hold an active Virginia RN license, BLS and ACLS, plus current QuantiFERON-TB Gold within 12 months and vaccination or exemption. Per diem flexibility lets you control workload while working in leading acute care settings.

• ACLS certification (AHA)
• QuantiFERON-TB Gold test within past 12 months
• COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption

Responsabilités

• Deliver safe, high-quality nursing care in an acute care hospital setting
• Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions and responses to treatment
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments per physician orders
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and other equipment for PCU patients
• Recognize changes in patient condition and respond appropriately
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams
• Maintain accurate electronic medical records
• Follow hospital policies and infection-control standards
• Provide patient and family education
• Adapt to different hospital environments and unit needs

PCU RN Requirements

• Active Virginia RN License
• Minimum 2 years of recent PCU nursing experience within the past 4 years
• Current BLS - American Heart Association (AHA)
• Current ACLS - American Heart Association (AHA)
• Current QuantiFERON-TB Gold test within the past 12 months
• COVID-19 vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption
• Additional credentials may be required based on the hospital assignment.
