First Choice Nurses of Eastern VA is seeking experienced PCU Registered Nurses for per diem hospital opportunities in the Hampton Roads area. You can pick up shifts to fit your schedule, with day and night options and the possibility of daily or weekly pay.

As a PCU RN, you will deliver high-quality care in acute hospital settings, monitor patients, administer meds, and collaborate with the care team. This role offers flexible scheduling with local hospital assignments.

Qualificações

• Active Virginia RN license.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Ability to work day or night shifts.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver safe, high-quality nursing care in an acute care setting.
• Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions and responses.
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments per orders.
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and equipment for PCU patients.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams.
• Maintain accurate electronic medical records.
• Provide patient and family education.
• Adapt to different hospital environments as needed.

PCU RN Requirements

• Active Virginia RN License
• Minimum 2 years of recent PCU nursing experience within the past 4 years
• Current BLS - American Heart Association (AHA)
• Current ACLS - American Heart Association (AHA)
• Current QuantiFERON-TB Gold test within the past 12 months
• COVID-19 vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption
• Additional credentials may be required based on the hospital assignment.

• Follow hospital policies, infection-control standards, and patient-safety guidelines
• Provide patient and family education
