First Choice Nurses of Eastern VA is seeking experienced PCU Registered Nurses for per diem hospital opportunities in the Hampton Roads area. You decide when you work, choosing occasional shifts or a fuller schedule.

Enjoy flexible per diem nursing in leading acute care hospital settings with day and night shifts, daily/weekly pay options, and a locally dedicated staffing team.

Qualifications

• Active Virginia RN license required.
• Minimum 2 years of PCU nursing in the past 4 years.
• Current BLS (AHA) certification.
• Current ACLS (AHA) certification.
• QuantiFERON-TB Gold test within the past 12 months.
• COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption.
• Additional credentials may be required by hospital.

Responsabilités

• Deliver safe, high-quality nursing care in an acute care hospital setting.
• Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions and responses to treatment.
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments per physician orders.
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and equipment for PCU patients.
• Recognize condition changes and respond appropriately.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams.
• Maintain accurate electronic medical records.
• Follow hospital infection-control and patient-safety guidelines.

PCU RN Requirements

• Active Virginia RN License
• Minimum 2 years of recent PCU nursing experience within the past 4 years
• Current BLS - American Heart Association (AHA)
• Current ACLS - American Heart Association (AHA)
• Current QuantiFERON-TB Gold test within the past 12 months
• COVID-19 vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption
• Additional credentials may be required based on the hospital assignment.
