First Choice Nurses of Eastern VA is seeking an experienced PCU Registered Nurse for per diem hospital opportunities in Hampton Roads, VA. You may pick up shifts or build a fuller schedule, with day and night options and the convenience of daily/weekly pay.

Requirements include an active Virginia RN license, BLS and ACLS, and recent PCU experience. Per diem positions offer flexible scheduling across leading acute care hospitals in the area.

Qualifications

• Active Virginia RN License required.
• BLS certification required (AHA).
• ACLS certification required (AHA).
• QuantiFERON-TB Gold test within past 12 months required.

Responsabilités

• Deliver safe, high-quality nursing care in acute care hospital settings.
• Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions and responses to treatment.
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments per physician orders.
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and specialized equipment for PCU patients.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams; maintain EMR documentation.

PCU RN Requirements

• Active Virginia RN License
• Minimum 2 years of recent PCU nursing experience within the past 4 years
• Current BLS - American Heart Association (AHA)
• Current ACLS - American Heart Association (AHA)
• Current QuantiFERON-TB Gold test within the past 12 months
• COVID-19 vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption
• Additional credentials may be required based on the hospital assignment.
