Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for Pain Management and Infusion Clinic on a per diem basis in Elgin, IL. The role is cross-trained to work in both Pain Management and Infusion Clinic, with shifts as needed and at least one per week.

The RN will follow standards of care, maintain accurate EHR documentation, and participate in safety and quality initiatives while delivering compassionate patient care in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• Active RN license; BLS certification.
• Typically requires 1 year of clinical nursing experience.
• BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Engage in governance, quality initiatives, and evidence-based practice improvements.
• Use the nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement, and evaluate care with patients and families.
• Monitor patient conditions, adjust care plans, and coordinate with the care team to improve outcomes.
• Uphold a culture of safety and continuous quality improvement.
• May administer medications and therapies per clinical protocols.
