Job summary

LUX Infusion seeks an experienced Ambulatory Infusion Clinic Nurse (RN) in Chicago, IL to deliver specialty infusion care with a patient-centered approach. This on-site role supports our Ambulatory Infusion Clinic and may assist other care settings as needed.

The ideal candidate holds an RN license in Illinois, a nursing degree, IV certification with central line experience, and 2+ years RN background (home infusion/CCU/ED preferred).

Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state of practice.
• Nursing degree from an accredited program.
• IV certification and central line management experience.
• 2+ years of RN experience (home infusion, critical care, ED, or similar preferred).
• CPR certification and valid driver’s license.
• Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills.
• Willingness to travel locally to support patients.
• Bachelor’s degree, PICC/Port/Midline certification, and multi-state licensure preferred.

Responsibilities

• Insert, monitor, and discontinue IVs, including central line care.
• Administer infusion therapies, medications, and blood products as prescribed.
• Monitor patient response, obtain vital signs, and perform assessments.
• Educate patients and caregivers on infusion therapy and IV care.
• Perform venous phlebotomy as needed.
• Complete accurate clinical documentation and nursing notes.
• Coordinate schedules and communicate with patients, families, providers, and care teams.
• Maintain compliance with safety, ethical, and regulatory standards.
