Descrizione del lavoro

Endeavor Health is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for Infusion Therapy at Elmhurst Cancer Center in Elmhurst, IL. This per diem position requires 111-144 hours every 6 weeks with 8 or 10 hour shifts; weekends on call; holidays rotated.

The RN will provide high-quality infusion therapy care, including vascular access, injectable medications, and patient education, while following safety and research protocol guidelines. CPR and IL nursing license required.

Competenze

1 year of experience as staff nurse.
1 year of infusion experience preferred.
Associate's in Nursing required.
Bachelor's in Nursing preferred.
Current Illinois Nursing licensure required.
CPR Certification required.
Chemotherapy/Biotherapy Card preferred.

Mansioni

Assess, plan, implement and evaluate delivery of nursing care in infusion center.
Proficient in vascular access care, maintenance and management.
Safely prepare mixes, handle, administer and dispose of injectables and infused agents.
Perform designated nursing activities according to policies and procedures.
Maintain knowledge and competency reflective of current standards of practice.
Collaborate with peers and contribute to professional development.
