BriteLife Recovery actively seeks a Per Diem/Part Time RN to promote a safe, therapeutic environment for clients. You will maintain therapeutic relationships in a setting without hospital-level chaos and with stable staffing ratios.

Qualifications

• Current NY RN license in good standing.
• Experience with documentation and data entry within an EHR.
• Experience working with alcohol or substance use treatment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist clinical team with Admissions process.
• Administer medications, treatments and procedures per nursing standards.
• Carry out care plans and medication orders from Physicians/Nurse Practitioners.
• Educate clients on medication side effects and monitor for adverse reactions.
• Monitor withdrawal symptoms in clients with substance use issues.
• Maintain electronic health records (EHR).
• Provide crisis management when needed.
• Promote BriteLife Recovery to clients and staff.
• Protect resident confidentiality and privacy.
• Adhere to OASAS and facility standards of care.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to solve resident problems.
