Job summary

UW Medicine Transfer Center in Seattle, WA is hiring a Per Diem Registered Nurse for night shifts. The position is located at the UW Medicine office at Boeing Field with a hybrid work arrangement allowing partial in-office and partial remote work.

The role coordinates patient transfers with referring hospitals, UW Medicine providers, and outside hospitals to ensure rapid and safe transfers for emergent or urgent cases. WA RN license and 2+ years of relevant nursing experience are required.

Qualifications

• Current WA State (or multistate) RN license.
• Minimum two years RN experience including emergency, ICU, acute care or outpatient nursing.
• Triage experience is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with referring hospitals to transfer patients into UW Medicine facilities.
• Coordinate with UW Medicine providers to transfer patients between facilities.
• Coordinate with outside hospitals to transfer patients out of UW Medicine facilities.
