Job summary

Mass General Brigham seeks a compassionate Registered Nurse to provide competent, individualized nursing care for adults in the neurology clinic, including patients undergoing specialized treatments. You will collaborate with inpatient and outpatient teams to plan, implement, and evaluate care, ensure safety and cultural sensitivity, and participate in clinical research trials within scope of practice.

This role is hybrid remote with work location at 55 Fruit Street, Day shift, Per Diem, hourly

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 1–2 years of clinical nursing experience.
• Registered Nurse license preferred (state license).

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate, detailed reports and records.
• Administer medications and monitor for reactions or side effects.
• Record patients' medical information and vital signs.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to assess, plan, implement, or evaluate patient care plans.
• Modify patient treatment plans as indicated by patients' responses and conditions.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Complies with all policies and standards.

Job Summary

• Assures competent, compassionate, individualized, nursing care for adults and their families.
• Responsible and accountable for the overall nursing care management of patients undergoing specialized treatments in neurology clinic.
• Collaborates with the inpatient and outpatient clinical care team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
• Ensures that care is safe, efficient, effective, timely and meets the cultural, spiritual, and ethnic needs of each patient and family.
• Participates in clinical research trials within scope of practice.

Summary

Accountable for interpreting the plan of medical care, assessment of patients' clinical decision-making regarding nursing care, assuring nursing care is provided in a safe and competent manner, providing individualized nursing care, and evaluating nursing care for groups of patients.

Essential Functions

Qualifications

Education

Associate's Degree Nursing required orBachelor's Degree Nursing preferred

Experience

Clinical nursing experience 1-2 year required

Licenses and Credentials

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Familiarity with the principles and skills needed for practical nursing to provide patient care and treatment.
• Knowledgeable of the care required by respective age groups for which care is being provided.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and secure sensitive information.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.
• Excellent verbal and communication skills.
• Ability to accurately screen and triage acute patients.
