Job summary

Southcoast Health System, Inc. is seeking a per diem RN in Medical Oncology for the Cancer Center in Fall River, MA. The role focuses on oncology education, treatment, and psychosocial support for patients and families.

Under the supervision of the Manager of Patient Care, you will participate in tumor boards or committees as assigned; MA RN licensure, 3 years Medical-Surgical with oncology interest, CPR, and OCN/IV skills are preferred. Pay range is determined by experience and position.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing or equivalent.
• Current RN Licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
• Minimum of three years Medical Surgical experience with oncology interest preferred.
• Current CPR certification required.
• Oncology Chemotherapy/Biotherapy certification or IV skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive oncology education, treatment, and psychosocial support to patients and families.
• Actively support committees, tumor boards, or other services the manager may assign.
