Job summary

Wood County Hospital in Bowling Green, OH is seeking a Medical Office RN/LPN/MA for the Wound Healing Center on a Per Diem basis. The RN will provide clinical and administrative support in a medical office setting under physician and office manager direction, delivering patient care per nursing standards and organizational guidelines.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Registered Nursing with current license to practice as an RN in the State of Ohio.
• LPN license
• Certified or Registered MA

Responsibilities

• Assist physician or provider with patient assessment, examinations and treatments.
• Documents patient care observations and activities according to professional standards and procedures.
• Administers routine injections under the direction and supervision of a provider.
• Promptly responds to patient phone calls and concerns.
• Triages patient phones calls, in accordance with office policy.
• Obtains specimens (i.e. throat, urine, wound, etc) using proper technique and following policy and protocol for labeling.
