Job summary

Wood County Hospital seeks a Registered Nurse, Licensed Practical Nurse, or Medical Assistant for the Wound Healing Center on a per diem basis. The RN/LPN/MA will provide clinical and administrative support in a medical office setting, under physician guidance.

The role requires Ohio RN or LPN licensure, with MA certification considered. You will assist with patient assessments, documentation, injections, and specimen collection while handling triage calls and office communications.

Qualifications

• RN license in Ohio required.
• LPN license accepted for related role.
• MA certification or relevant medical assistant credential preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist physician with patient assessment, examinations, and treatments.
• Document patient care observations per standards and procedures.
• Administer routine injections under supervision.
• Promptly respond to patient phone calls and concerns; triage calls.
• Obtain specimens (throat, urine, wound) using proper technique.
