Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Educate mothers on breastfeeding benefits and proper latch, positioning, and feeding techniques.
• Advise on managing nipple pain, engorgement, and low milk supply.
• Provide pumping guidance, milk storage, and handling.
• Assess mothers and infants to identify lactation problems.
• Develop individualized care plans and monitor progress.
• Collaborate with NICU staff to support feeding for preterm or medically fragile babies.
