Job summary

Qualifications

• Education: Associate's degree or graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• Experience: 2 years of RN experience in Intermediate Care.
• Credentials: BLS, TNCC or obtain within 1 year, NIH Stroke Scale, ACLS, PALS etc. as required by unit.

Responsibilities

• Delivers quality care to patients as part of a nursing team.
• Ensures patient safety by following policies and procedures.
• Provides pain management and both pharmacological and non-pharmacological measures.
• Assists with discharge planning and education on medications.
• Communicates patient condition effectively to patient and family.
• Coordinates with health care team to ensure safe, effective care.
