Job summary

Valley Health System is seeking a Registered Nurse for per diem assignment in Virginia. The RN will perform the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, and evaluation, and will lead patient education and care coordination with the health team.

The role requires an RN license (Virginia or multi-state), BLS/HCP certification, and at least two years of RN experience. AASN/ADN is required; BSN preferred. Per diem schedule and shift pay range apply.

Qualifications

• RN with current license to practice in Virginia or eligible for Virginia license.
• Two years of RN experience required.
• BLS (Healthcare Provider) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Carry out nursing process including assessment, diagnosis, outcomes, planning and evaluation.
• Coordinate patient teaching, quality and safety initiatives, and collaboration with health team.
