Job summary

Qualifications

• Education: BSN in progress and/or willing to acquire within three years of hire.
• Experience: At least 1 year of nursing experience.
• Licenses & Certifications: Current New Jersey Nursing license; BLS/CPR per American Heart Association; Telemetry Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care according to evidence-based practice.
• Communicate patient status and treatment plans with the healthcare team.
• Administer medications using bar-scanning and documentation technologies.
• Document patient assessments, plans of care, interventions, and evaluations electronically.
• Provide patient and family-centered education to optimize health and wellness.
• Participate in multi-disciplinary discharges for safe transitions of care.
