Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a per diem Registered Nurse for the 3 East Med/Surg unit in Holmdel, NJ. You will provide individualized patient-centered care in collaboration with the healthcare Team, focusing on safety, quality, and patient satisfaction.

Responsibilities include evidence-based nursing, medication administration, and coordinating care from admission to discharge with an interdisciplinary team. BSN preferred; NJ RN license required; AHA BLS/CPR certification essential.

Qualifications

• BSN strongly preferred or must obtain within 3 years.
• Six (6) months of relevant nursing experience OR participation in Hackensack Meridian Health Nurse Residency Program
• Current and valid New Jersey Registered Professional Nurse license
• Active American Heart Association (AHA) BLS/CPR certification

Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing practices according to evidence-based research and standards of care.
• Communicate ongoing patient status and treatment plans with healthcare team members.
• Ensure optimal patient satisfaction and care experience.
• Administer medications utilizing advanced clinical documentation technology.
