Job summary

Right at Home Anne Arundel County is seeking a Per Diem Registered Nurse (RN) in Annapolis, MD 21401 to support senior clients in their home environment. The role focuses on assessing conditions, safety, and coordinating with caregivers to ensure high-quality care.

The position requires an Active MD RN license, CPR certification, and a valid driver’s license. Preference for experience in home care and strong documentation skills. Flexible schedule and local community presence are offered.

Qualifications

• RN license in the State of Maryland in good standing.
• CPR Certification is required.
• Health physical (health screening) for direct patient care.
• Complete tax forms (W9) must be submitted.
• Valid driver's license and insured vehicle required.
• Read, write, speak, and understand English as needed for the job.

Responsibilities

• Assess client’s condition, home environment, and safety.
• Guide caregivers in personal care and transfers (Hoyer Lift).
• Communicate high-risk data to the team and caregiver.
• Maintain accurate client documentation and records.
• Ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
• Stay informed on home health regulations and standards.
• Promote a positive image of the agency in community.
• Focus on Quality Assurance and client experience.
