Job summary

Best Home Health Providers, Inc. is seeking a per diem Registered Nurse in California to ensure accurate clinical documentation and quality of care across the Bay Area.

You will work with clinical staff to guide home health patients through their recovery journey and support regulatory compliance efforts. The role emphasizes accurate OASIS assessments, ICD-10 coding, and data integrity, with a focus on patient safety and high-quality service delivery.

Qualifications

• Active California RN license in good standing is required.
• 1–2 years of clinical home health experience preferred.
• Knowledge of OASIS assessments and ICD-10 coding.
• Familiarity with federal regulations and state licensure requirements.

Responsibilities

• Review OASIS assessments for completeness and regulatory compliance.
• Ensure accurate ICD-10 coding and sequencing.
• Collaborate with clinical staff to resolve documentation issues.
• Monitor visit utilization and flag financial risks to management.
• Participate in Quality Improvement and corporate compliance activities.
• Pursue ongoing education to stay current with best practices.
