Job summary

The Hospitals of Providence – Memorial Campus is seeking a Registered Nurse for per diem day shifts in El Paso, TX. This role provides direct clinical patient care, coordinates care, and supervises staff under the guidance of the CNO to ensure high-quality, safe nursing services.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited nursing program, active licensure, BLS (and ACLS/PALS/NRP as applicable), with preference for a Bachelor’s or Master’s in Nursing and recent acute care experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Nursing preferred.
• Recent acute care experience preferred.
• Current license/registration; BLS required; ACLS/PALS/NRP as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, safe, cost-effective nursing care to all patients.
• Coordinate and plan patient care within the nursing process.
• Administer medications safely per hospital policy.
• Supervise staff and support CNO to ensure high-quality care and appropriate resource management.
• Be familiar with and respond to hospital emergency codes as needed.
