The Hospitals of Providence - Memorial Campus is seeking a Registered Nurse for per diem shifts in El Paso, TX. You will provide direct patient care, coordinate nursing plans, and participate in emergency response and safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Nursing preferred.

Responsibilities

• The RN provides high-quality, safe, cost-effective, total nursing care to all patients.
• The RN coordinates and integrates patient care based on the nursing process.
• The RN directs care according to established safety standards, risk management, QA, and Infection Control, with the goal of discharging the patient with an optimum level of care.
• Assumes responsibility for coordination and planning of patient care within the prescribed medical regime.
• Administers all medications safely and in a timely manner per hospital policy.
• Performs all HICS responsibilities, assignments, tasks, and roles as needed by the facility in times of emergency and/or disaster.
• Responsible for knowing the hospital’s emergency codes and adhering to policies for each.
