Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health is seeking an experienced RN for per diem Day shift at Exeter Hospital in New Hampshire. The role focuses on delivering high-quality patient care on a 34-bed Medical/Surgical unit with emphasis on safety, documentation, and teamwork.

The candidate should hold NH or compact state RN licensure, BCLS certification, and ACLS certification. BSN is strongly preferred, with opportunities for mentorship and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• RN license – NH or any other compact state.
• BCLS certified or within 30 days of hire; BSN strongly preferred.
• ACLS certified or within 1 year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care per hospital policies, ANA standards, and ethics.
• Ensure safe, timely medication and IV administration and transcription.
• Documentation is accurate, timely, and concise.
• Precept and mentor new staff; support ongoing professional development.
• Perform physical and comprehensive assessments; update plans of care.
• Coordinate patient hand-offs and multidisciplinary communication.
• Educate patients and families and document education provided.
• Engage in continuous professional growth and skill advancement.
