Qualifications

• Must have Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university or graduate from an approved RN program.
• Must have a current, unencumbered, active RN license in MA.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Must demonstrate knowledge and skills to provide age-appropriate nursing care.
• Must be able to evaluate performance and conduct evaluations for personnel.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents, including administering medications and monitoring vital signs.
• Supervise CNAs/GNAs and other nursing staff.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local standards and regulations.
• Monitor performance of CNAs/GNAs and provide education as needed.
• Perform disciplinary actions as necessary and complete performance evaluations.
• Participate in quality assurance for the nursing service department.
• Collaborate with resident services to maintain total care regimen.
