Job summary

Atlas Healthcare, LLC in Shrewsbury, Massachusetts seeks a compassionate Per Diem Registered Nurse (RN) to provide direct resident care at Shrewsbury Rehabilitation and Nursing at Southgate. You will administer medications, monitor vital signs, and supervise CNAs to ensure high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Must possess a Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university or graduate from an approved RN program.
• Must possess a current, unencumbered, active RN license in MA.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Knowledge and skills to provide care for age-related needs of residents.
• Ability to evaluate performance and complete evaluations for personnel.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents including medications, wounds, and vital signs.
• Supervise and direct CNAs/GNAs and other nursing staff.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local standards and regulations.
• Monitor CNAs/GNAs performance and provide education as needed.
• Perform disciplinary actions as necessary and conduct performance evaluations.
• Participate in maintenance and implementation of the Center's quality assurance program.
• Collaborate with resident services to coordinate total care for residents.
