Job summary

Qualifications

• Read, write and communicate in English.
• Graduate of a School of Nursing.
• Licensed as an RN in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts (Massachusetts).
• BLS certification (Basic Life Support).
• ACLS certification within 6 months (obtain within).
• PALS, De-escalation and other required trainings within stated timelines.

Responsibilities

• Delivers patient care through the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation.
• Maintains and delivers high quality customer service standards.
• Directs and guides patient care and staff while following hospital policy.
• Maintains accurate and current patient records and discharge plans.
• Serves as resource person on patient care and nursing education.
