Job summary

Masonicare ALSA Services is seeking a per diem Registered Nurse for the Assisted Living program in Connecticut. The RN will oversee resident care plans, supervise staff, manage medications, and collaborate with physicians to ensure high-quality, coordinated care.

This role requires current CT RN licensure and relevant experience in home health or community health. Per diem/as-needed schedule, with responsibilities including assessments, education, and ongoing care coordination to ensure

Qualifications

• RN license in CT in good standing
• Two years of full-time nursing experience (one year in home health or community health) or four years in a related role within the past 10 years

Responsibilities

• Perform initial and ongoing nursing assessments to develop resident plans of services.
• Develop, implement and evaluate resident plans of services.
• Manage medications and follow physician orders.
• Transcribe and implement physician orders promptly.
• Educate, supervise and counsel residents and families on AL procedures and care needs.
• Coordinate the plan of services and maintain continuity of care with professionals.
• Document accurately and timely in medical records.
• Supervise resident care assistants and other staff as required.
• Engage in ongoing professional development and education activities.
