Panoramic Health's Ambulatory Surgical Center is seeking a Per Diem Registered Nurse to support our ASC team. This hands-on role provides care before, during, and after outpatient procedures.

The ideal candidate has an RN license, ADN, BLS and ACLS, with at least 2 years of clinical RN experience; ophthalmology ASC experience preferred. Per diem schedule offers flexibility and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Current RN license per state requirements.
• ADN from an accredited nursing program.
• BLS certification required.
• ACLS certification required.
• Minimum 2 years of clinical RN experience.
• Surgical Ophthalmology experience highly preferred.
• Experience in ambulatory surgery center or comparable clinical environments.
• Strong assessment, communication, documentation, and patient-care skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced procedural environment with emphasis on patient safety and quality of care.

Responsabilités

• Complete daily opening and closing responsibilities per protocols.
• Perform comprehensive pre-operative assessments and vital signs.
• Obtain IV access, perform lab draws, and point-of-care testing as needed.
• Monitor patients before, during, and after procedures including vital signs and pain status.
• Administer oral and IV medications as ordered.
• Communicate patient information to physicians and clinical team.
• Assist with procedure room prep and maintain sterile technique.
• Support during procedures and post-procedure care.
• Monitor recovery and discharge readiness post-sedation.
• Provide patient education and safe discharge instructions.
• Maintain medical records (paper and electronic).
• Maintain narcotic and prescription logs and assist with inventory.
• Coordinate with dialysis facilities regarding post-procedure care.
• Follow OSHA and Joint Commission standards and infection control requirements.
• Perform additional clinical and operational tasks as assigned.
