Job summary

Select Specialty Hospital - Cincinnati North is seeking a Respiratory Therapist (RT) for PRN/Per Diem shifts at TriHealth Rehabilitation Hospital in Cincinnati. You will assess patients, develop and implement treatment plans, and deliver respiratory care to those with critical and complex conditions.

The role features 12-hour day/night shifts, extensive orientation, and potential for advancement. A $3,750 sign-on bonus is offered; per diem roles may qualify for 401k after 1,000 hours.

Qualifications

• Must possess Active NBRC CRT or RRT credential or state equivalent.
• Proof of graduation: college diploma/transcript or high school diploma/GED.
• Possess a Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by start date.
• Current state licensure is required.
• ACLS is required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and recommend an appropriate treatment plan.
• Provide respiratory care to patients with critical and complex conditions.
• Perform insertion and removal of endotracheal tubes.
• Promote continuous quality improvement.
• Teach and counsel patients and families.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job description

Position: Respiratory Therapist (RT) - Per Diem/PRN

Location: Cincinnati, OH - Located inside of TriHealth Rehabilitation Hospital

Schedule: PRN/As Needed/Per Diem - 12 Hour Shifts - Day Shift 7:00a-7:00p & Night Shift 7:00p-7:00a

Compensation: $52.00 per Hour

Sign on Bonus: $3,750

Tier 2: Minimum of two 12-hour shifts per week; One major/minor holiday; at least 3 weekend shifts per six-week schedule: $52.00 + applicable shift diffs.

Minimum Requirements

• Must possess "Active" CRT or RRT credential from the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) or state equivalent.


• Proof of graduation required: college transcript/diploma (preferred) or high school transcript/diploma or GED.


• Possess a Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by start date.


• Current state licensure is required.


• ACLS is required upon hire. (Agency RT must have ACLS upon first shift)

Preferred Qualifications

• One (1) year of related experience is preferred.
