Job summary

Columbia County Health System is seeking a compassionate Respiratory Therapist for a per-diem role at Dayton General Hospital in Dayton, WA. You will provide safe and effective respiratory care, follow safety standards, and collaborate with physicians and nursing teams to support patient recovery.

The position offers an hourly rate of $35–$58 with shift differentials for nights and weekends and eligibility for a $3,750 sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• Active Washington State Respiratory Therapist license.
• ACLS certification preferred.
• BLS certification (renewed every 2 years) will help obtain.

Responsibilities

• Safely and effectively administer respiratory therapy medications.
• Use, maintain, and care for respiratory therapy equipment and supplies properly.
• Maintain accurate and thorough clinical records and charting.
• Uphold high safety standards and work responsibly at all times.
• Communicate effectively with physicians, nurses, patients, and hospital staff; demonstrate strong teamwork.
• Exercise good judgment, tact, dependability, and accuracy in all duties.
• Educate patients about their respiratory condition and treatment as appropriate.
