An established industry player seeks a dedicated Respiratory Therapist to provide exceptional patient care and support critical respiratory needs. In this role, you will assess and implement care plans for inpatients and outpatients, utilizing complex equipment for diagnostic and therapeutic purposes. You will work collaboratively with a team of healthcare professionals, ensuring timely modifications to treatment plans while maintaining the highest standards of documentation and patient interaction. Assesses, implements, and coordinates the Respiratory Care Plan for inpatients and outpatients. Operates a wide variety of complex technical equipment for diagnostic and therapeutic purposes. Continuously monitors therapy, therapeutic response, and the disease process being treated, making appropriate and timely revisions and modifications to the treatment plan in consultation with interns, residents, attending physicians, and pulmonary physiologists.

Education: Minimum of an A.S. in Respiratory Therapy from a CoARC-approved college (B.S. preferred). Licenses and Certifications: RRT credential, BLS from AHA, CT State license. One year of clinical experience; critical care sub-specialty preferred.
Experience: At least one year of clinical practice, with a preferred sub-specialty in critical care.
Licensure: RRT credential, BLS certification, CT State license.
Exposure to pathogens, blood, body fluids, and potentially harmful substances. Ability to respond rapidly to emergencies, walk up to 7 flights of stairs, lift up to 40 pounds, move patients with assistance, and perform prolonged CPR.
