Job summary

The City of Nashua is seeking a compassionate per diem Support Staff member for the Resource Center. You will assist with check-in, log visitor access, and help maintain a safe environment for clients, including de-escalation as needed.

This part-time position offers an hourly rate of $25.00 and requires strong interpersonal skills, basic computer ability, and CPR/Narcan training. Bilingual applicants are a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in human services helping people experiencing homelessness.
• Experience with individuals with mental or behavioral health conditions.
• Some computer skills.
• Bi-lingual skills a plus.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Trained in CPR and Narcan use.

Responsibilities

• Oversee check-in process and log daily site access.
• Maintain safety of those on site with regular checks.
• Perform walk-throughs to ensure visitors follow policies.
• Assist with computer access for clients.
