Job summary

Goddard Riverside Community Center in Manhattan is seeking a Residential Aid to warmly welcome residents and help them acclimate to their new living environment. You will assist in the transition, support daily activities, and ensure residents follow house rules while staying engaged with available resources.

Join a dedicated RA team, work per diem shifts (7am–3pm, 3pm–11pm, 11pm–7am) at the Long Island City site, and earn an hourly rate of $19.75.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist residents as the first point of contact on site.
• Support residents in acclimating to the living environment and daily routines.
• Enforce site rules and safety regulations to maintain a secure residence.

Goddard’s newest endeavor will be a transitional Site for adult families. This site will be a place where families can feel safe, receive resources and supportive services, while becoming acclimated to, and part of, the community.
Restgate Hotel is an emergency capacity transitional site located in Long Island City, Queens.
Position Summary: RA team will ensure clients are getting acclimated to their living situation, following rules & regulations of the site, and assist in monitoring the residence. Residential Aid staff are the first welcoming face new residents are greeted by!
