Job summary

Goddard Riverside Community Center in Manhattan is seeking a Residential Aid (Per Diem) to welcome and assist families housed at the Hillside Hotel site in Jamaica, Queens. You will help residents acclimate, explain rules, and support daily operations.

Shifts run 7am-3pm, 3pm-11pm, and 11pm-7am; hourly rate is $19.75. This per diem role centers on frontline engagement and maintaining a safe, supportive environment for residents.

Responsibilities

• Welcome new families and greet residents at the Hillside Hotel site.
• Help residents acclimate to living arrangements and resources.
• Explain site rules and regulations and assist with daily routines.
• Monitor residence to ensure safety and order.

Goddard’s newest endeavor will be a transitional Site for adult families. This site will be a place where families can feel safe, receive resources and supportive services, while becoming acclimated to, and part of, the community.
Hillside Hotel is an emergency capacity transitional site located in Jamaica, Queens.
Position Summary: RA team will ensure clients are getting acclimated to their living situation, following rules & regulations of the site, and assist in monitoring the residence. Residential Aid staff are the first welcoming face new families are greeted by!

• 3pm-11pm
• 11pm-7am

Hourly Rate: $19.75
