The Shores a UMC community in Ocean City, NJ is seeking a Homemaker to provide dining support and resident meal assistance. The position offers a per diem schedule with shifts from 6a-2p, 11a-7p, and 4p-7p, and compensation at $17.24 per hour based on experience.

Qualifications

• Will ingness to complete ServSafe course and obtain certificate.
• Willingness to complete Dining Assistant Training course.
• 1 or more years of related work experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve quality meals and snacks while following menus, recipes, dietary needs, and food safety regulations.
• Accommodate special diets and substitutions to meet residents' nutritional and personal preferences.
• Encourage resident input on food choices, menus, and meal presentation.
• Assist residents with eating and dining support according to training and care guidelines.
• Follow sanitation, food handling, and temperature monitoring procedures to ensure safety and regulatory compliance.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen; monitor equipment and report maintenance needs.
• Manage grocery inventory and perform housekeeping duties, including cleaning resident rooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and common areas.
